In its second year, the Urban Wine Festival will take place on Saturday, July 11, 2020 at Lanspeary Park. The festival is a more urban slant on wine drinking, with a wide variety of local and international wines available. The inaugural last year Urban Wine Festival saw wine booths assorted by varietal (ie. a Merlot booth, a Chardonnay booth, etc.) with a variety of different selections of each varietal.
The wine fest also includes interactive art throughout the site, as well as some incredible entertainment. 2019 saw Detroit sensation, Apropos, take the stage.
The Urban Wine Festival will compliment other festivals and events that WindsorEats has created and brought to the region such as the Windsor Craft Beer Festival and the Whiskeytown Festival.
